Liberty
$300 registered or $200 without papers
DOB: 3/31/2024
Yearling – dried up
Liberty kidded with a single buckling this year. Unfortunately, he was the first kid loss that we experienced on our farm. Because of this, her milk did not come in like our other does who have babies nursing on them around the clock for the first two weeks, and with more than enough milk from my other does, I chose to stop milking her at a week into her lactation to let her dry up. She could potentially be rebred for a fall kidding if the buyer desires (for an additional $50).
Her dam is Freedom Five Lucy who was my favorite goat to milk last year. Liberty milked out beautifully for the week that I did milk her with excellent teat and orifice size. Her sire is Pine River FF BD Cocoa Bean with lots of Grasse Acres genetics in his pedigree.

Buck
Cocoa has a lot of Grasse Acres, Old Mountain Farm, and other reputable farm genetics in his pedigree. We’re moving him on because all of our keeper does are either black or carry a black gene, and we want to add a bit more variety of color back into our herd. He settled all of our does without issue last fall, and we used him on two does the year before that he settled right away also. He has moonspots and has passed them on to several of his kids as well.

Wesson
$75
DOB: 4/16/2024
Wether
Wesson appears to have one undescended testicle (cryptorchid) based on his faster growth than his brother and “buckier” behavior. This means that he likely has a 1-5% chance that he is still fertile, so I would NOT recommend purchasing him if you would plan to house him with does. He would make a great companion for your buck(s) or another wether though and is super sweet. He grazes well and would make a great brush clearer. My youngest has become very attached to him and would love to see him go to a pet home, but if you want him for other purposes, then that’s your choice!

Barnabas
$100
DOB: 8/6/2020
Retired Buck
Barnabas has given us several cryptorchid bucklings, so we are choosing to retire him and sell him to someone looking for a companion to their buck, wether, or for their freezer. We believe in improving the gene pool, and this isn’t a gene we’d like to see continue in the breed. Barnabas is a big ole teddy bear and has done really well around our kids. He could be castrated to reduce his buck behavior and/or allow him to live with female goats without getting them pregnant if you’d like to keep him for a pet. He’s gorgeous, and he grazes well too!

Frank
$75
DOB: 4/26/2025
Buckling (to be wethered)
Frank is one of the cryptorchid bucklings that Barnabas gave us. It’s a shame because his pattern is absolutely stunning! He is very friendly, and we intend to band him, but this may not entirely stop his “bucky” behavior nor completely eliminate his fertility. He would make a wonderful companion for your buck, wether, or grow out for your freezer (just please don’t tell my kids if this is your plan!). You could also have a vet perform surgery to remove his internal testicle, and that would allow him to live with girls since he would no longer be fertile.

Freedom Five Jessie
$300 registered, or $200 without papers
DOB: 3/27/2024
The Q A Blossom x Blessed Hope Farm Barnabas
Jessie is a yearling doe that kidded on March 12th and has been milking well for her young age and size. She has great potential, is easy to milk out, and has a wonderfully friendly personality. I was going to keep her, but I decided that I need to cut my numbers just a bit more, so she’s ready to go to your farm. As a bonus, she could go with her daughter as a bonded pair!

Jessie’s Girl
$200 w/o papers; $300 w/papers
DOB: 3/14/2025
Freedom Five Jessie x Pine River FF BD Cocoa Bean
Jessie’s Girl (aka “Girlie”) has been a fast-growing doeling and should be ready to breed this fall for spring kids next year. Her dam is giving me 1-1.5 lbs per milking and has a beautiful udder, so I expect her to be a great milker as she matures in her next lactation and beyond! Her sire has a lot of Grasse Acres genetics in his pedigree, so she should make a great family milk goat with a friendly personality.

Mickey Mouse
$75
DOB: 5/4/2025
Freedom Five Lucy x Pine River FF BD Cocoa Bean
Mickey is a cute little boy with several moonspots. He loves hanging out with his sister and would make a wonderful pet! He and his sister are learning how to graze now, so they could also help with eating down any brush or other areas that need attention! He will be wethered (made infertile) before weaning and will be ready for his new home in mid-to-late July.

Minnie Mouse
$250 w/o papers; $350 w/papers
DOB: 5/4/2025
Freedom Five Lucy x Pine River FF BD Cocoa Bean
Minnie and her brother (Mickey) have both been stunning from day 1. She comes from strong milk lines, and her dam was my favorite goat to milk last year as a FF. At just two weeks into her 2nd lactation, she is giving me 2 lbs (4 cups) per milking! She would make a great family milker (could potentially be bred this fall for spring kids) or just keep her as a pet! (Discount if she goes with her brother since they are bonded. He will be wethered before weaning.) She is currently being dam raised and will be available mid-to-late July once she is weaned.
