Our Family

Having grown up on farms, we (Justin and Denise) quickly learned that we couldn’t handle town life and began searching for our little slice of heaven in the country.  Little did we know that that search would last seven years.

But in God’s perfect timing, we eventually found 5.5 acres that we’ve called home since 2018.  We knew that we wanted to raise our kids in the country and teach them where their food came from along with the responsibility that comes from raising animals.

Having vowed to never milk cows again, we started with the “gateway” animal in 2020 – chickens.  In 2021, we added pigs to our little farm.  And in 2022 came the goats! 

We started with a small ADGA registered herd of two does and two bucks.  As goat math goes, that turned into milking four does in 2024, and if all goes according to plan, we’ll be milking six in 2025 and will begin selling our first does to make great milkers in other people’s herds.
